Mid-Century Modern “Passive House” Revival Crosses Finish Line

Perched over Rock Creek Park, this 60s modern home has seen a complete revival with “Passive House” renovations. Grounded in sustainability with “smart wall” construction and geothermal HVAC, alterations include a cantilevered library addition, floating stair, stacked stone fireplace, and modern bespoke kitchen. After 10 months of construction the build is now complete. The clients could not be happier living in their brand new open, light filled, character fueled home.
