Robert Arnouts AIA

Esopus Meadows Light House, Hudson River, New York

Robert Arnouts started his practice in 1978 in the then small town of Poughkeepsie, New York. He later moved to the quiet town of Easton, Maryland, where his architecture firm has quietly woven its mark into the fabric of the community for many years. With a heart full of gratitude and a sense of fulfillment, Robert Arnouts now steps into a well-deserved retirement, passing the baton to Christiane deJong and her team at deJong Studio | Architecture. It’s a transition marked by humility and a deep respect for the journey that has led them here.

Roberts architectural practice has always been rooted in a genuine love for the craft and a sincere desire to serve his clients and his community. Through his work, he has sought not recognition, but rather the simple satisfaction of knowing that he has made a positive impact on the lives of those he has had the privilege to work with. His buildings stand as quiet witnesses to his dedication and his unwavering commitment to integrity and excellence.
